Over fifty years ago the Maryland Bar Foundation was organized with the objective of obtaining gifts and contributions to be used to:

  • Foster and maintain the honor and integrity of the profession of the law.
  • Improve and facilitate the administration of justice.
  • Promote the study of the law and research therein, the diffusion of knowledge thereof, and the continuing education of lawyers.
  • Provide grants or other resources to any non-profit organizations furthering the mission of the Foundation.
  • The Foundation has only been able to carry out this objective with the financial support of its Fellows.
